Carol McCormick is a five year resident of North Wildwood, Carol met her husband, Jack, in Wildwood at the Riptide in 1969. Jack, a lifelong resident of the Grays Ferry area of South Philly and Carol, a 2nd Streeter, both enjoyed coming to the Wildwoods as kids. Almost 35 years later, they still love being in Wildwood as do the rest of their family: son Bob, daughter Shannon, son-in-law Franny and granddaughters Kacey and Riley. Carol has been vacationing in the Wildwoods since the 1950s when her family used to take the train from Philadelphia for their annual one or two week vacation. Carol and Jack continued the tradition with their family and returned to the Wildwoods every year for their annual vacations until 1996, when they became seasonal renters for several summers. Always intending to retire in Wildwood, in 2000, the McCormicks decided to take the plunge and purchase a property in North Wildwood. They left their home in South Philly and have never been happier. Carol has a long history in Customer Service and Marketing. Retiring on June 30th from Drexel University after 10 years as the Assistant Vice President for Operations and Event Management, she signed up for the Real Estate Sales Associate licensing class and received her license this summer. While at Drexel, Carol worked in the fundraising department, where customer service is paramount. She worked extensively with the University’s President and his family doing special events at his home and running the operations of the office, budget and personnel. Prior to Drexel, Carol worked for a major Philadelphia brokerage firm for 12 years. No stranger to hard work and multitasking, Carol worked as a Supervisor for Investor Communications, as the Manager for Client Services and New Business Closings and as the Office Manager. Carol loves working with the public and has made many friends due to her professionalism and quality customer care. She loves traveling, going to the beach with her granddaughters, photography, music and most importantly, talking about her favorite place, the Wildwoods. Carol is looking forward to making you as happy as she is living in the Wildwoods! |
